      Concession Stand Attendant
      Tualatin Hills Athletic Center - Beaverton

      Are you looking for a job with competitive wages, one in which you can learn and grow and be a great team member? The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is hiring! We are currently searching for concession attendants to work for the Athletic Center. The concession stand locations include Court 7 Café at the Athletic Center, Sunset Park, PCC Rock Creek, Mountainview Champions Park, and the HMT softball fields. You will be placed at one of these stands for spring and summer.

      The Concession Attendant maintains operations and assists customers. This position assists in setting the example and ensuring the highest level of patron experience in concessions. The qualified candidate will be a mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Duties are primarily performed in concession stands, which can be hot or cold and noisy. The flow of work and the character of responsibilities involve typical mental and visual attention. Manual dexterity and coordination are required, making up more than 50% of the work period. Requires continual standing, walking, and frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending. Requires frequent lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

      Minimum Qualifications
      • Food preparation and food service practices, including menu planning.
      • Proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment, safety practices, and conformance with food service sanitation requirements.
      • Basic operation of office equipment, including computers and cash register.
      • Basic arithmetic, spelling, English, and grammar.

      • Must be 16 years of age or older.
      • One year of food handling or hostess experience.

      Working hours vary and employees should assume a schedule of flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings. Part-time employees are scheduled variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year.

      Bilingual employees who utilize their language skills in the workplace can earn an additional 3% pay incentive!
