      Position: Concierge
      Facility: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Wedgewood
      Location: Lakeland, FL
      Shift: Full-Time | 11 AM – 7 PM
      Salary: $16 per hour

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Collaborate with the Admissions Department to prepare units for new admissions, ensuring necessary equipment (beds, oxygen, etc.) is available.
      • Prepare rooms for new Residents by verifying previous belongings are removed, terminal cleaning is completed, and ensuring the room is ready with working lights, call bells, and a functioning TV.
      • Assemble welcome baskets with essentials for new Residents.
      • Greet and escort new Residents to their rooms, making them feel welcome.
      • Provide comfort and support to Residents and families; listen to concerns and offer encouragement.
      • Answer call bells, assist Residents when possible, or promptly notify staff to ensure needs are met.
      • Address Resident complaints/concerns through the Grievance Process and ensure follow-ups.
      • Build positive relationships with Residents, families, and staff members.
      • Attend scheduled in-service training, supervisory meetings, and Resident Council meetings.
      • Assist with tours and room changes, especially during off-hours or when admissions staff is unavailable.
      • Complete Concierge follow-up forms within 48 business hours of admission and prior to planned discharges.
      • Email daily progress reports to administrative staff to communicate any trending issues.
      • Coordinate with laundry to retrieve belongings for Residents readmitted from the hospital.
      • Prepare and distribute gift bags for Residents being discharged, including ordering necessary items.
      • Monitor and schedule smoking sessions for Residents.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Compassionate and proactive approach to Resident care.
      • Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities efficiently.
