- Welcomes customers/visitors in a friendly and consistent manner and being the face of Global Parts & Distribution as the first point of contact for them.
- Provides strong customer coordination to ensure excellent service to all customers/visitors.
- Ensures customers/visitors sign in, have been vetted through Textron Aviation Security, and issues ‘Escort Required’ visitor badges.
- Ensures all customers/visitors return ‘Escort Required’ visitor badges.
- Ensures lobby is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Follows proper phone procedures and etiquette, no cold transfers
- Receives and sorts daily mail and notifies respective employees of mail and packages.
- Processes and reconciles vendor invoices and check requisitions in a timely manner.
- Processes maintenance requests in a timely manner and follow up on requests as needed.
- Processes and submits leadership’s expense reports, as required.
- Orders name and title plates for employees.
- Maintains and issues desk keys to employees.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and replenishes as needed.
- Coordinates tours with respective departments/managers.
- Maintains and uploads material to Four Winds Interactive (FWI) on company TVs.
- Oversees utilization of company van.
- Processes requests and reviews retention list for long-term storage (Iron Mountain).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year customer service or relative administrative experience required .
- Proficient in use of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with multiline telephone
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Professional demeanor and ability to accept instructions and directions.
- Customer relations and interpersonal skills.
JOB SUMMARY:
To assist the sales and customer support departments during customer visits to assure the visit is a successful, rewarding experience while managing and helping facilitate the logistical needs of the business. Welcomes customers, visitors, employees and directs them to the proper contact. The Concierge engages in numerous face-to-face, telephonic and written exchanges throughout the course of their responsibilities. The Concierge is a key liaison-building asset to management and enlightens management of concerns, trends and insight gained through customer interactions.
