Position: Concierge
Department: Rooms Division
Reports: Chef Concierge

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria.
In addition to the Service Standards for All Employees
Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)
· In-depth understanding of essential hospitality standards and company policies.
· Proven skill in developing relations with guests, vendors, and internal departments.
· Time management and resource management.
· Responsible for booking restaurants, activities, babysitting. i.e., systems used Opera, RA and Knowcross.
· Assisting guests with booking flights, transportation, and Amtrak train.
· Ability to project a professional and knowledgeable demeanor.
· Strong organizational, communication and verbal skills
· Ability to provide professional communication in all environments.
· Stay poised and professional under all circumstances; remain polite, courteous, and helpful.
· Learn to evaluate guests by their preferences.
Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)
· Shifts vary daily, days off may not be together, expected to work holidays.
Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)
· Prior hotel experience preferred.
· Public/Guest contact position
Educational Requirements:
· High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
· Strong phone etiquette
Technical Requirements:
· Strong computer skills
Hourly position with possible gratuities.
