  Job Description

  We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Concrete Saw/Coring Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete cutting equipment including saws, drills, and coring machines to perform precise cuts and openings in concrete structures, roadways, and buildings. This role requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

  Responsibilities

  • Operate concrete saws (handheld, walk-behind, wall saws) and core drilling equipment to cut and remove concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine cutting locations and dimensions.
  • Set up and maintain equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools and machinery.
  • Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members regarding job progress and any issues.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of job sites and equipment usage.
  • Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites as needed.

  Essential Skills

  • Experience in the concrete industry.
  • Ability to operate concrete saws and coring tools/machines.
  • Experience in concrete finishing and drilling.
  • Knowledge of construction, rebar, and concrete forms.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in concrete grinding and concrete construction.

  Work Environment

  Work in an outdoor construction environment with an energetic workforce. The team is expanding quickly, with construction attire and PPE required. Typically, work is conducted in small teams of 2-4 people.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Permanent position based out of Savannah, Georgia.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
