Contributes and communicates logistics in all planning and preparation meetings with the Stakeholders to ensure the tradeshow/event plan is aligned with overall strategic goals and objectives
Directs, plans and organizes internal and external business related functions, symposiums, conferences, program events, banquets, and VIP briefings.
Develops on-site and off-site plans and budgets.
Investigates, coordinates, arranges and contracts for major hotel accommodations and services, charter air and ground transportation, communications and facilities support, client and guest entertainment, passport and VISA clearances, program functions, and similar activities to support company marketing and customer relations.
Directs multiple service contractors and subcontractors orchestrating large scale events supporting highest level company executives, international dignitaries and government officials.

Ability to demonstrate exceptional judgment, professionalism and attention to detail
Must be capable of setting priorities and working under pressure.
Ability to multitask with competing priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include verbal, written and listening.
Ability to work with vendors
Ability to establish, track and meet budgeting requirements
Ability to work cooperatively with executive leadership and all levels of professionals.
Travel domestically and internationally as required
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in project management, conference & event planning, or related OR 1 years of experience with a Master's degree
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Valid CA State Driver's License
Experience planning and executing customer visits/events
Aerospace industry experience preferred
Experience organizing and planning a detailed schedule for Senior leadership
Experience working with all levels in an organization
Active DoD Secret

Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Salary Range: $65,600.00 - $98,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. This position reports to the Event Production and Operations organization responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all Tradeshows and Events. The Specialist will partner with the Tradeshow/Event Lead to manage all the logistical planning and execution of the tradeshow/event, demonstrating Northrop Grumman's commitment to performance excellence and innovation.
