      We are currently looking for an Expert (m/f/d) in Consolidation and Financial Reporting, who is responsible for preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements of the Borealis group and review of the individual accounts for completeness, accuracy and compliance with the accounting guidelines. In this role, you guide Country Finance Managers in IFRS accounting through technical and reporting issues as well as guide stakeholders like business controllers in various IFRS topics. Additionally, you provide management with solutions in reporting matters and act as a primary contact for the group audit.

      Your tasks include:

      • Monthly financial reporting and consolidation of the Borealis Group and preparation of group financial statements.
      • Preparation of the reporting instructions, annual accounts and notes to the financial statements.
      • Efficiency improvement projects as well as supporting mergers & acquisition projects.
      • Coaching and training of finance teams within the topics of group accounting, reporting, IFRS and tax.
      • Preparation of reliable financial data for management decisions and guidance and optimal solutions to daily business issues (for example valuations, cash flows, taxes, business structure)
      • Co-operation with other Borealis departments.

      About you

      You are the right candidate for this role, if you have finished your university degree in economics. You have already several years of relevant work experience as a consultant/audit department at a Big 4 company as well as in-house experience in consolidation. Moreover, you are fluent in English and German. Finally, you have proven your ability to manage finance relevant stakeholders to deliver the required inputs while showing your coaching/training, communication and negotiation skills.

      With appropriate education and experience, we offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labor agreement of EUR 85.000 annual gross salary. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
