- Prepare job sites by digging and utilizing heavy equipment.
- Operate machinery such as excavators, backhoes, or bobcats.
- Perform hand digging for electrical pipe installation.
- Prepare and transport equipment to job sites.
- Conduct precise excavation work and assemble piping systems as needed.
- Ensure efficient site preparation and accurate underground installations.
- Minimum of 1 year of outdoor labor experience.
- Proficiency in using spades or shovels for extended periods.
- Experience operating excavators, backhoes, and bobcats.
- Valid driver’s license.
- All projects are located within the local Des Moines metro area.
- Daily meetings will be held at designated sites or at the shop depending on the day's assignments.
- The role is predominantly outdoor, requiring personal cold weather gear in winter; other necessary PPE will be provided.
- High reliability and consistency are required, with strict adherence to punctuality and a zero-tolerance policy for non-compliance.

Job Description: Currently seeking a dedicated Construction Dirt Worker to join our dynamic site work crew team in Ankeny, Iowa. As a key member of our team, you will assist in preparing job sites through a range of essential tasks, including hand digging and operating heavy equipment. You will work under the guidance of an experienced foreman and be responsible for the precise excavation and assembly of piping systems in the field.
