- Operate drilling equipment to complete assigned projects
- Complete drilling in both standard and high risk areas; with live utilities
- Maintain a working knowledge of utility depths and placements
- Ensure vehicles, equipment and tools are properly maintained, in good repair and secured in a safe manner
- Review field designs, communicating discrepancies to supervisor for change orders
- Properly document all work completed to include pothole and bore logs
- Conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed
- Complete general restoration and cleanup
- Complete all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders
- 3+ years of directional drilling experience required
- Valid driver’s license, CDL required
- Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
- Ability to travel daily, ability to work outside of business hours when needed, overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends etc., in all seasons
- Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- High level of energy, motivation and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption
- Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs as needed
- Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing in all weather conditions year round
- Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools

We are seeking a Construction Horizontal Directional Drill Locator to join our team in our Denver, CO office. In this role, you will operate drilling equipment to complete assigned projects in both standard and high-risk areas with live utilities, review field designs and properly document all work completed to include pothole and bore logs.
