      Job Title: Construction Laborer - Paving


      Job Description

      We are seeking skilled paving laborers with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience. This role involves meeting at the office in Gorham and traveling to various job sites, focusing on paving for commercial properties and non-highway roadways.

      Responsibilities

      • Participate in non-highway road construction projects.
      • Work on commercial parking lots and sidewalks.
      • Utilize strong mechanical abilities to assist in paving activities.
      • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 70 pounds.
      • Commit to working up to 10 hours per day during peak season.

      Essential Skills

      • 1-2 years of experience in roadway construction.
      • General labor skills in construction.
      • Strong mechanical ability.
      • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in commercial paving is highly preferred.
      • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
      • Experience with commercial sidewalks and paving.

      Work Environment

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gorham, Maine.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
