      Job Title: Construction Laborer - Paving

      Job Description

      We are seeking skilled paving laborers with 1 to 2 years of experience. This position involves working on commercial properties and non-highway roadways. You will meet at our office in Gorham before heading to the job site. The pay range will be between $20 and $25 based on experience. You will need a reliable car and a license.

      Responsibilities

      • Assist in paving for commercial properties and non-highway road construction.
      • Operate and handle construction equipment safely.
      • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
      • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
      • Follow safety regulations and procedures at all times.

      Essential Skills

      • 1 to 2 years of paving experience.
      • Strong mechanical ability.
      • Ability to work up to 102hours per day during the peak season.
      • Capacity to lift standard weights of 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 70 pounds.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in commercial paving is highly preferred.
      • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
      • Experience with commercial sidewalks and paving.

      Work Environment

      You will work on various construction projects, primarily focused on non-highway roads and commercial parking lots. The role requires physical activity, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The environment is collaborative and supportive, promoting growth and learning.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gorham, Maine.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
