  Job Title: Construction Laborer

  Job Description

  This position involves working on a variety of commercial construction job sites in Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas.

  Responsibilities

  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Follow blueprints or site plans accurately.
  • Assist with tasks such as demolition, excavation, and site preparation.
  • Show up on time and adhere to safety rules.
  • Demonstrate dependability to ensure projects remain on schedule and safe.

  Essential Skills

  • General labor experience in construction.
  • Ability to perform carpentry tasks.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Capability to follow blueprints and site plans.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of construction experience required.
  • Carpentry experience is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation.

  Work Environment

  Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm, with occasional weekends as needed.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Virginia.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
