      Job Overview

      McCarthy is currently accepting applications for Union Laborers with experience on large construction sites. The Laborer role is essential, supporting the project team to ensure the timely and successful completion of construction projects.

      Key Responsibilities

      1. Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the site daily to eliminate hazards.
      2. Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
      3. Load and unload trucks and haul or hoist materials.
      4. Assist with traffic control as needed.
      5. Support carpenters and other trades as required.

      Qualifications

      1. Member of the Laborers Union.
      2. Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on commercial construction projects.
      3. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to schedule.
      4. Dependability and consistent attendance.
      5. Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.

      Additional Details

      The pay rate in California ranges from $22.91 to $44.50 per hour, based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement and may vary depending on location, experience, and skills.
