- Assist with excavation, trenching, and site preparation for utility installations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Support pipefitters, electricians, and heavy equipment operators as needed.
- Perform backfilling, compacting, and grading to restore work areas.
- Install and maintain temporary structures, such as barricades and safety signage.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Assist in final site cleanup and preparation for inspections.
- Experience in site and utility construction, sewer systems, and civil construction.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Join our team as a Construction Laborer and contribute to exciting new construction projects in the utility and site construction sectors. We are seeking dedicated individuals with over two years of experience in road, site, civil, and utility construction projects who are ready to travel across the central and eastern parts of New York. This role involves working overtime and maintaining good safety practices.

Work Environment
The work environment is 100% outdoors and involves working during various weather conditions including rain, snow, cold, heat, and wind. The team size ranges from 1-2 up to 10, and you will report to a foreman or project superintendent. Work is scheduled from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work and frequent overtime. Candidates should be ready to work from 6:30 am until 4:00 pm or later, with overtime ranging from 2-20 hours per week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
