      Req#: 27487

      Construction Manager

      Provide a wide range of services including but not limited to: assessing and estimating damages, assisting applicants applying for federal aid, debris removal, and long-term recovery planning.

      Responsibilities

      • Investigates/reviews damaged public facilities (roads, buildings, bridges).
      • Develops descriptions of the work and costs necessary to repair and/or rebuilding of the site.
      • Works with public stakeholders to assist them with the FEMA Public Assistance process.
      • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

      Management Authority

      No supervisory/management authority.

      Education

      Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and certification.

      Skills and Abilities

      • Appropriate technical education and certification.
      • Willingness to deploy and mobilize to Joint Field Office (JFO) and on-site location.
      • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and industry partners.
      • Strong written and oral communication skills.
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to be politically savvy.

      Work Environment

      This position is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
