- Oversee preparation of weekly cheque runs and purchase orders
- Manage change orders in the accounting books’
- Track project cost and completion in align with contracts; liaise with project managers and site managers.
- Complete month-end closings and prepare monthly project financials
- Prepare ad hoc project reports as requested
- Minimum of 2 years Construction Accounting experience in Canada
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; must be able to work with discretion and be trusted with confidential information
- Proficient in Excel
- Hands on mastery of Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (formerly Sage Timberline Office) is an asset

About Our Client
Our client is an award-winning real estate developer and builder in Vancouver. Projects are primarily residential high rise and multi-family condominium. It's a privately-owned company.
About You
You are an experienced construction project accountant with, at least, 2 years relevant experience in Vancouver.
About the Role
As a Construction Project Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Controller and responsible for the project accounting of one large construction project with two residential towers.
