      Job Summary

      Manage specific aspects of the project as assigned by the project manager or leader, such as technical, construction, quality, cost, and schedule. Support the development and management of specific portions of the project budget and schedule, ensuring alignment with the project scope and objectives. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project deliverables. Support the development, execution, and commissioning of the project, including adherence to safety standards, system turnover packages, system walkdowns, punch list management, coordination with operations, and system documentation. Provide regular and accurate reports on project status, milestones, risks, and issues to the project manager or leader and other relevant parties. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation in project management processes and practices. Significant complex projects might encompass new generation plants (like coal, combined cycle, solar, storage, wind, or nuclear), retrofits, environmental initiatives, and other large-scale complex endeavors. Contribute to the overall success of the project and carry out additional tasks as requested or given.

      • Involved in major complex generation projects focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
      • Supports the management of specific portions of project scope, budget and schedule and can provide accurate, concise updates to management.
      • Support field team to ensure EPC contract and/or purchase agreements are appropriately implemented, and project is constructed to efficiently provide to our Operations team.
      • Typically reports to a Manager - Project Construction.

      Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

      Minimum 3 years' experience in project management in a relevant field. Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications

      • This position will focus on, but is not limited to, the development and construction of BESS projects.
      • Experience with substation interconnection, distribution, and transmission.
      • Possess leadership skills with a project team or multiple teams.
      • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
      • Strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
      • Skilled in implementing and managing new construction and/or improvement projects.
      • Strong team building skills.
      • Ability to develop, manage, and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
      • Ability to resolve technical problems and implement changes.
      • Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
      • Ability to collaborate with multiple entities; internal and external, interpret, and process complex information to determine potential options or paths for projects.

      Education Requirements

      Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor, other education: Business, Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

      Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description

      GWO is required for positions required to support Offshore Wind.

      Preferred: EIT, PE, PMP, PMI-CP
