      Job Description

      Serve as the primary liaison and representative for the airport/owner, responsible for directing and managing the project. Develop and manage the scope of the project to meet goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

      Responsibilities

      • Direct and manage the assigned project, ensuring on-schedule completion within or below budget.
      • Develop the Request for Proposal (RFP) and oversee the procurement process for designers and contractors.
      • Plan and define program goals, develop in-depth knowledge of owner objectives, contract terms, and airport policies.
      • Supervise and control the execution of all technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project.
      • Collaborate with team members and airport management to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements.
      • Oversee owner's staff managing full project delivery, including stakeholder interfaces.
      • Manage project scope to meet or exceed project goals and objectives.
      • Conduct field surveys and investigations to capture detailed and accurate field conditions for strategic design and construction decisions.
      • Maintain documentation on the approved scope of work, including all related agreements, authorizations, reports, drawings, and specifications.

      Essential Skills

      • Project management
      • Construction management
      • RFI and change order management
      • Commercial construction
      • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related field
      • 5 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
      • Experience with projects valued at over $10 million
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
      • Expertise in project coordination, site development, project engineering, blueprint reading, and project scheduling

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Optional certifications such as AAAE, PE, PMP, AICP
      • Experience with CAD or REVIT
      • Previous experience at airports such as JFK, LGA, EWR, PHL, and HVN

      Work Environment

      This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities. You will utilize technologies such as CAD and REVIT to ensure project success.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $82.00/hr.
