      JOB TITLE: QC Technician - MechanicalLOCATION: Sunnyvale, CAJOB DESCRIPTION
      The QC Technician - Mechanical will lead quality control efforts on-site, inspecting mechanical systems during preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and punch list phases. This position will ensure compliance with project documents, applicable codes, and best practices, while collaborating with the design team, clients, and contractors to resolve coordination and technical issues. You will inspect offsite and onsite fabrication and installation of mechanical systems, ensuring all issues are addressed and closed out.RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Schedule and coordinate mechanical inspections, trade contractors, and related personnel.
      • Perform onsite inspections of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with approved QA/QC plans, project specifications, and standards.
      • Inspect mechanical installations for compliance with best practices and applicable mechanical codes.
      • Participate in QA/QC meetings and report on quality issues in the mechanical scope of work.
      • Perform offsite inspections of Owner Furnished Equipment related to mechanical systems.
      • Address and resolve technical issues that arise during mechanical installations.
      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
      • 2+ years of experience in mechanical quality control or construction QA/QC.
      • Experience with mechanical system installation, inspection, and commissioning.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and field management software (BIM360 Field, Procore, Latista).
      • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with trade contractors and project teams.
      • Demonstrated experience in processing negative feedback and de-escalation of high stress situations.
      • Ability to read printed drawings while on the jobsite.
      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
      • Experience with structural or mechanical system installation and inspection.
      • Knowledge of high-performance mechanical systems and quality standards.
      • Build out experience is desired, with the ability to compare BIM to the physical build and to the original drawings.
      BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
      As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is $80,000-$115,000 based on experience, background, skills, and a 50-hour work week.ABOUT IPARAMETRICS
