- Req#: 209528
- Prepare, initiate and follow-up joint use applications for new construction and modifications to third party attachments.
- Act as Liaison between GSU and other Utilities regarding Joint Use by administering Company policies and Utility construction standards.
- Provide quality control through inspections of civil installations and documentation of this plant.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with customers.
- Gather field data and survey data with regards to GSU's infrastructure.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil design or inspection
- Two-year college Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent in a technical program, preferably civil
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with modern surveying equipment and modern GIS technology is an asset
- Experience with standard engineering software is an asset

We are currently seeking a skilled, detailed oriented and safety focused Construction Services Technician. This position reports to the Supervisor of Engineering and supports quality control by conducting field visits and verifying the work of civil contractors.
