  Hiring for a Construction Superintendent in Hartford, CT!

  Job Description

  We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Superintendent to oversee and direct subcontractors and trades, ensuring the timely and quality completion of construction projects. This role supports the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution and is crucial for maintaining professional and efficient project completion.

  Responsibilities

  • Direct subcontractors and trades to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
  • Support the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution.
  • Ensure projects are completed professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage on-site operations and coordinate all necessary resources.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and productive job site.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and inspectors.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with all applicable standards.

  Essential Skills

  • Strong work ethic and knowledge of commercial construction.
  • Experience in commercial construction, preferably with a commercial general contractor.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in construction project management software.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent.
  • Experience in Commercial Construction (Ground Up, projects over 7 million).
  • Subcontractor management and site construction safety.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with tenant renovations, service work, and work in occupied spaces.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Municipal (Public) Project experience.
  • Experience with wood frame and sitework.

  Work Environment

  The role involves working in a dynamic construction environment where maintaining safety and productivity is crucial. The Superintendent will be expected to use construction project management software and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring projects are managed efficiently and meet quality standards.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
