      Your work environment at EXP

      In this role, you will be a part of the Land Development team, of the Infrastructure &Transportation sector, based in Calgary, AB office and have the opportunity to work with a great team.


      What a day at EXP has in store for you

      • Survey Layout for all stages of subdivision construction including rough grading, underground and surface installations
      • Topographical survey for quantity calculations
      • Pickup grades and locations of existing utilities and/or features for design purposes.
      • Download ASCM sheets for initial site surveys and localizations
      • Plan and map interpretation
      • Preparing field notes and sketches
      • Use and maintenance of GPS survey instruments, Total Stations, Data Collectors and Levels

      What your experience looks like

      • Minimum of five years’ experience as Party Chief.
      • Preference will be give to candidates with UAV experience and pilot's license
      • Preference will be given to candidates with subdivision construction survey experience.
      • Degree or Diploma in Geomatics, Engineering Technology or related field from a recognized institution is an asset.
      • Knowledge of survey field data transfer software and general computer software/applications.
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Able to work in a team environment and independently
      • Valid driver’s license
      • Must be prepared to use own vehicle. Per km reimbursement for business use will apply.
