      Main duties of the job

      Qualifications:

      A UK-recognised Medical Degree

      GMC registration with a license to practice

      Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery

      JAG Accreditation

      Experience & Skills:

      • Proficiency in Diagnostic Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
      • Ability to independently manage clinical care and provide expert opinions in elective gastroenterology
      • Experience conducting clinical audits and applying findings to improve practice
      • Clinical training equivalent to UK CCST standards
