      Consultant Engagement Manager – Fixed Term

      Cromwell Hospital / High Street Kensington Office

      Fixed Term 6 months

      Salary circa £49K - £55K depending on experience

      Full time 37.5 hours per week

      The role

      You’ll be key to developing consultant relationships and loyalty, delivering an exceptional customer service package to forge and enhance relationships between the hospital and medical professionals and streamline communications.

      You’ll be instrumental in strengthening Cromwell Hospital’s brand and reputation to attract high value consultants whilst ensuring all incumbent consultants are highly engaged.

      How you’ll help us make health happen

      • Deputise for the Head of Consultant Engagement and lead the day-to-day aspects of consultant engagement
      • Work closely with the Head of Consultant Engagement to analyse revenue and activity data reports to identify trends with consultants’ private practice and opportunities to intervene
      • Prepare the deck and chair a monthly meeting, ensuring a complete quorate and staff engagement.
      • Maintain a strong and proactive communicative network between Cromwell Hospital and consultants.
      • Work closely with Medical Directors’ Office to facilitate a smooth application for practice privileges.
      • Oversee a high quality and robust onboarding programme for all new consultants, including undertaking in-person inductions and introductions to key hospital staff.
      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with operational teams to quickly identify and rectify any issues which may impact consultants and their patients.
      • Be accountable for reporting and submitting multiple KPIs to measure the success of the consultant strategy.
      • Design and lead an active programme of networking and social events for consultants throughout the year.
      • Liaise with Bupa Insurance to ensure our consultants are fee assured, plan approved and fully understand Bupa finder benefits.
      • Create consultant-to-consultant connectivity and discuss how to increase cases to the hospital with cross-functioning working and referrals.
      • Work closely with primary care and self-pay team to ensure internal referrals and self-pay work is strategically directed to reduce any leakage.
      • Maintain a strong onsite hospital presence to include daily walkabouts and scheduled meetings with consultants
      • Drive the annual Consultant satisfaction survey and associated key deliverables
      • Attend external events as a Cromwell Hospital representative to increase the presence of the hospital and provide service updates.

      What’s needed for this role

      • Impressive, relevant experience in a hospital environment - ideally private healthcare.
      • Solid understanding of independent practice including developments, challenges and opportunities in the current climate.
      • Evidence of strong management experience
      • Effective, engaging communication at all levels
      • A flexible, collaborative team player able to work autonomously and take responsibility for your work
      • Brilliant relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
      • Able to demonstrate good attention to detail while meeting multiple project deadlines
      • Confident in compiling and delivering presentations to a number of key stakeholders
