Job summary
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a new consultant physicians in the Health Care of Older People who wish to work differently, who share a passion for change, growth and quality improvement and who are keen to join us in our pursuit of clinical excellence combined with innovative approaches to person-centred care.

105 patient spaces
The post-holder will have responsibility for Health Care of Older People patients. Within the Division of we work to our core Vision To deliver high quality, person centred care by the right people in the right place and time, delivered by an empowered, compassionate and skilled workforce within a strong Quality and Financial Governance and Assurance framework. With this in mind the approach we adopt is to run consultant lead ward rounds each day where possible.
HCOP is currently supported by 5 Elderly Medicine consultants working between them to provide support and consultant level decision making into the teams. There will be opportunity to assist in the development of the team and to further develop care pathways alongside in reach and clinic opportunities.

The post holder will support the embedding of new innovated ways and make the services at Rotherham more efficient for the patients and pathways.
The aim of these posts is to have integral links between departments to enable close, collaborative working.
