      Job Title: Family Connections Consultant

      Location: Maricopa County & Pinal County
      Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
      Schedule: Flexible – Must be available to provide services any day of the week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on family needs.

      Overview:
      A New Leaf is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Connections Consultant to join our Family Connections Program. This role provides in-home and community-based support to families involved with the Department of Child Safety. The consultant will help strengthen protective factors, enhance parenting capacity, and ensure children remain safely in their homes.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Deliver family-centered services to reduce risk of abuse or neglect and build parenting skills
      • Provide intervention and support related to parenting, mental health, domestic violence, and substance use
      • Conduct in-home assessments to ensure safe environments for children
      • Collaborate with families on service planning and help them access community resources
      • Maintain detailed and confidential client records and documentation
      • Offer flexible scheduling to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday visits
      • Educate families on substance use and connect them to appropriate treatment resources
      • Support families in navigating services including housing, employment, and financial assistance
      • Participate in ongoing team meetings, supervision, and training
      • Maintain compliance with all program and documentation standards

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required
      • Minimum 1 year of experience in the human services field required
      • Strong understanding of family systems, trauma, and multi-problem households
      • Familiarity with community resources and experience supporting diverse populations

      Requirements:

      • Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening
      • Must be at least 21 years of age
      • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance
