      Job summary

      With the opening of our brand new Comprehensive Cancer Centre (The Dyson Cancer Centre) in April 2024 this is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious oncologist to join our cohesive and committed team. We are recruiting an 8 PA substantive consultant oncology colleague with specialist interest in Breast and Hepatobiliary cancers. This is a new expansion post where you will be joining a dynamic and friendly team of both established and new oncologists who value teamwork and input into many national roles.

      Main duties of the job

      The job is 8 PAs with 6.5:1.5 DCC:SPA split providing full oncological systemic services for patients with Breast and HPB cancers. For first year Consultants there will be a reduction in Outpatient Clinic commitment with mentoring, including a Trust New consultants induction programme, to enable new consultants to find their feet, build confidence and relationships within the department and wider trust.
