      Job Description

      Visa Commercial Solutions provides issuers and their corporate clients a suite of products and capabilities to simplify the critical processes that businesses perform daily. These critical processes include managing expenses, compliance, vendors, and reporting. They also provide analysis for corporates to make informed business and financial decisions about employee and company spend. Commercial Solutions also facilitate payments between buyers and suppliers, using online solutions or APIs. The Consultant provides operational and technical support to North American banks and partners regarding Visa’s suite of commercial products. This role will be a subject matter expert on multiple products and platforms and will represent the team and its clients in advocating for platform improvements and enhancements.

      • Act as the single point of technical contact for assigned merchant and partner accounts
      • Manage and troubleshoot escalated technical problems, interfacing with Product Development, Product Management, or Operations teams
      • Act in the role of subject matter expert on all aspects of the push payment platform ranging from product behavior to deep technical expertise.
      • Provide technical implementation assistance to developers
      • Perform business analytics and performance monitoring of live merchants and partners
      • Provide eCommerce and payment acceptance consultative guidance and best-practices to merchants and partners
      • Educate merchants on how ongoing enhancements of Visa services may benefit their business
      • Create, edit, and distribute client notifications and communications
      • Participate in requirements, design, and roll out of new products and services
      • Represent Client Support to other departments in the company including sales, operations, product management, and product development
      • Partner with Sales to build relationships with technical and business contacts across the account portfolio
      • Stay current with industry and client trends and develop/maintain a strong knowledge of Visa products and services.
      • Proactively identify operational opportunities with an eye on scalability, document recommendations to increase client experience, service quality, and efficiency.

      This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

      Qualifications

      Basic Qualifications:

      • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
      • Must be a self-starter with proven abilities in organizational, conceptual, and logical problem solving
      • Ability to manage assignments that are of diverse scope and complexity that require significant initiative and good judgment
      • Ability to set priorities and manage customer expectations internally and externally, and work both as part of a team and independently
      • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information and apply to commercial solutions.
      • Superb proficiency with troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
      • Proficiency providing technical and consultative support to external customers and identify business needs.
      • Public speaking skills
      • Customer focus with proven ability to establish productive working relationships with staff and management at all levels.
      • Demonstrate ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet those needs.
      • Strong skills in Excel for data analysis.
      • Advance Power point for professional presentations.
      • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills required.

      Additional Information

      Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

      Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

      Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

      U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 106,700.00 to 154,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
