Job Responsibilities:
- Verify medical necessity in accordance with CMS standards and communicate relevant coverage/eligibility information to the patient
- Minimize duplication of medical records by verifying patient identity through demographic details
- Register patients for all services and achieve department-specific goal for accuracy
- Create accurate estimates to maximize up-front cash collections and add collections documentation where required
- Calculate patients' co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance and provide patients with personalized estimates of their financial responsibility based on their insurance
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of position-related experience
