      Consumer Experience Manager

      As a Consumer Experience Manager in the Home Environment Market (HEM) Portfolio Segment, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

      • Translating business objectives and global brand strategies into a holistic consumer experience across the end-to-end consumer journey through the marketing planning process, prioritized campaigns, and new product launches.
      • Collaborating with business and marketing teams, our internal marketing centers, and external agency partners to develop end-to-end promotional playbooks, global master content for area adaptation/activation and execution in-market for USAC, strengthening metrics throughout the brand funnel and driving demand/sales.
      • Driving consumer-centric thinking for integrated and digital marketing as an advocate for end-user across touchpoints to deliver a relevant and differentiated consumer experience for the 3M Consumer Home Environment Market product portfolios, as well as identification of content and go-to-market innovation and experimentation opportunities.
      • Makes recommendations on how to best deploy demand generation advertising spend across the portfolio and geographic opportunities, to meet business group growth objectives for respective portfolio/market segment and ongoing management of the portfolios’ AdMerch budget.
      • Developing and deploying global guidelines (brand/campaign standards, tools and procedures) with Area Marketing Centers. Ensures all work is aligned to brand guidelines and grounded in analytics to efficiently deliver against ROAS and other KPIs, including partnering with internal and external teams to track, analyze, and optimize campaign effectiveness.
      • Developing and supervising other marketing communication professionals in the division.

      Your Skills and Expertise

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
      • Minimum five (5) years of combined experience in marketing communications and/or brand management in a private, public or military environment
      • Minimum five (5) years of experience developing integrated marketing communications programs
      • Minimum five (5) years of experience of project management and collaboration with agency partners.

      Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

      • MBA or graduate degree from an accredited university, with focus on marketing or communications
      • Five (5) years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
      • Five (5) years of experience with digital marketing programs
      • Knowledge and experience in mass retail, online, and other consumer channels
      • Knowledge and experience with consumer insights and research methodologies for continued understanding of consumer behaviors, emerging consumer trends, and campaign performance
      • Experience with marketing technology/tools
      • Ability to use analytics to take projects effectively from analysis to insight and implementation

      Work location: Hybrid -- Maplewood, MN, Austin, TX, or London, ON, Canada

      Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

      Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $164,612 - $201,193, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
