      Covetrus is looking for a Consumer Insight Analyst to provide complex, reliable, and timely analytics and quantitative insight to accelerate Covetrus’ consumer-facing marketing, product experiences, and strategic business initiatives. You will support the strategic plan that improves new consumer acquisition, improves consumer retention, influences product and brand preference, and improves the experience of our consumer-facing products. You will conduct analytics and support the development of analytical frameworks that deepen the collective understanding of the business, consumers, and pet parents. You will contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement as you provide insight into the business and drivers of consumer behavior, loyalty, and product preferences.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Support data-driven marketing and business decisions for the Prescription Management commercial teams by aggregating data from multiple sources (including the Practice Information Management System), applying predictive analytics and forecasting techniques, and delivering insights in a clear and actionable format.
      • Identify, develop, and execute analyses to support business decisions and uncover areas of opportunity to shape consumer experience, drive consumer adoption, increase consumer loyalty, and influence brand preference, and consumer engagement.
      • Maintain a thorough understanding of consumer behavior, competitive trends, and business drivers to inform decision making.
      • Analyze key trends and build models that predict consumer behavior using statistical rigor.
      • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis.
      • Partner with various teams supporting the prescription management business to design, develop, and maintain forecasts, analyses, reports, and dashboards on key drivers for the business.
      • Collaborate across the organization to solve critical business challenges and support business strategy.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
      • 2+ years of experience in data modeling, business analytics, or consumer insights, ideally in a digital or eCommerce setting.

      COMPETENCIES (Skills and Abilities)

      • Proven expertise in forecasting and predictive modeling for business analytics (ideally using R and/or Python).
      • Proficiency in SQL and at least one other programming language (R, Python). Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
      • Ability to work with large-scale, complex datasets.
      • Experience in designing and building data infrastructure/automated reporting tools.
      • Demonstrated experience delivering actionable predictive insight for a consumer business.
      • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to use customer research, hard data and metrics for business analytics and to test marketing effectiveness.
      • Experience conveying key insights from complex analyses in summarized business terms.
      • Understanding of how pricing, promotion, brand impressions influence consumer loyalty, brand preference, and lifetime value. Ability to synthesize insights and support other teams to drive action in various areas of the business and our consumer marketing activities.
      • Proven experience with Excel and working with databases.

      Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

      However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive

      $60,600.00-$86,500.00
