Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs
Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management
Responsible for performing complex analysis
Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, SAS, and Visio at an intermediary level
Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met
Work closely with business partners to define strategies for solutions, determine requirements and develop functional designs based on analysis of business needs, objectives, and existing system infrastructure
Partner closely with line of business, technology teams, and vendors to ensure requirements and functional design are translated accurately into working designs and that test plans/scripts meet the business needs
Works under minimal supervision
1+ years of experience in risk analytics or related technology role
Strong analytical and logical reasoning ability
Experience working with Power Curve decision engine or similar rules engine/scripting solution (Pega/ODM/SAS/SQL/Groovy etc.)
Knowledge of Consumer Secured Credit Lending Products – (CVL or First Mortgage or Home Equity)
Creative thinker capable of building new processes and solving complex problems
Able to quickly comprehend business objectives and translate to business/system requirements to meet them
Able to manage work to meet deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities effectively
Project Management experience
Proven technical ability as demonstrated through related work experience
Experience with Bank of America’s Enterprise Change Policy and procedures
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Project
