What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Communicate with adjusters, policyholders, and industry vendors regarding their roles and contributions in the claims handling process
- Complete physical inventory and valuation of contents impacted by covered losses, applying appropriate methodologies
- Ensure timely and quality turnaround of all claims in accordance with productivity and performance standards
- Manage claim load independently to achieve timely turnaround and closure of all claims
- Maintain detailed work logs and claim-related notes in the company's claims system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Secondary (High School) Diploma; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months relevant work experience in a similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in claims management or related fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to travel overnight as required
