      The Content Creative Director drives the strategy, planning, creation, management, and governance of content for their assigned customer cohort and works closely with their partners in Content Development to ensure the successful execution of creative ideas and delivery of high-quality content. This role will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our content development and will help attract, engage, and convert our target audience by meeting customer needs through engaging & entertaining commercial content opportunities and driving the achievement of business unit goals. The Content Creative Director should understand their assigned customer cohorts at a deep level and translate those customer & commercial opportunities into exceptional creative concepts focused on conversion and engagement, whilst leveraging insights and analytics to understand and measure success.

      As Qurate Retail Group’s newest business unit, vCommerce Ventures is designed to accelerate our innovation in livestream commerce and establish our leadership in this space while also supporting the continued expansion of QVC’s and HSN’s linear video commerce (“vCommerce”) experiences to new audiences. vCommerce includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming and social platforms. vCommerce Ventures brings together livestream commerce teams and initiatives from across QVC and HSN into a separate, global business unit, with dedicated marketing, business development, content development and production, programming, planning, and merchandising resources.

      About The Role

      Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy for QVC+/HSN+ Streaming Service, the Content Creative Director drives the strategy, planning, creation, management, and governance of content for their assigned customer cohort and works closely with their partners in Content Development to ensure the successful execution of creative ideas and delivery of high-quality content.

      This role will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our content development and will help attract, engage and convert our target audience by meeting customer needs through engaging & entertaining commercial content opportunities and driving the achievement of business unit goals. The Content Creative Director should understand their assigned customer cohorts at a deep level and translate those customer & commercial opportunities into exceptional creative concepts focused on conversion and engagement, whilst leveraging insights and analytics to understand and measure success.

      Creative Strategy Development

      • Develop and drive the content creative vision and strategy for assigned customer cohort ensuring alignment with the customer strategy and commercial objectives from creative concept to partnering with Development teams for delivery.

      • Develop creative briefs according to assigned customer cohort that includes but not limited to creative concept, KPIs/ objectives, budget and business impact.

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Distribution, Merchandising and Programming to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to content creative vision and strategy, including distribution, channel and promotional strategies.

      • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

      Content Delivery Leadership

      • Oversee the development of original content, including series, films, documentaries, and other programming, that appeals to assigned customer cohorts.

      • Ensure that all content is produced on time, within budget, and meets the highest standards of quality and creativity, as well as objectives as defined by the creative brief.

      • Review and approve scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, and final edits, ensuring they align with the creative vision and meet business and brand standards.

      • Provide creative direction and feedback to Content Development team members to inspire creativity, foster collaboration, and ensure the delivery of exceptional content.

      Content Review & Continuous Improvement

      • Lead the Content Review process for assigned customer cohort with partner teams such as Content Development, Programming, Marketing and other relevant stakeholders.

      • Analyze performance metrics and customer feedback to iterate on content strategies and optimize engagement and retention.

      • Build and maintain relationships with network executives, producers, talent, and other industry professionals.

      • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

      What You Bring

      • Bachelor's degree in film, Media, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

      • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in Commerce with television/ video production experience as well.

      • 5 years in a leadership or executive/ senior producer role.

      • Proven track record of successfully producing and delivering high-quality TV shows, with a strong understanding of all aspects of the production process.

      • Experience in content creation for a national brand.

      • Experience working with top-level talent.

      • Extensive knowledge of content distribution.

      • Highly developed problem solving and relationship building skills.

      • Ability to make oral and written presentations.

      • Ability and confidence to present opinions and thoughts in a clear, unbiased manner.

      • Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment while achieving business results.

      • Strong decision-making, time management & planning skills.

      • Collaborative team player.

      • Must have current content reel and/or portfolio.

      For New York City based roles only: The annual gross base salary range for this position is $101,000-150,000. Salary ranges are general guideline only, and actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience and geographic location as well as business and market conditions. At Qurate Retail Group, salary is just one component of a comprehensive Total Rewards package that might include an annual bonus, long term incentives, a robust benefits package (inclusive of health & welfare), 401K match, tuition reimbursement and company discounts — plus an amazing culture!

      Salary: $101,000.00 - $150,000.00
