- Produce website and blog copy on a variety of personal lines topics for our Zywave Websites Partners
- Research and write original content on a variety of subjects in the areas of commercial insurance and employee benefits for Zywave's Content Cloud products.
- Organize and refresh product content.
- Prioritize writing assignments.
- Write and edit content for Zywave’s internal employee communications, and marketing if needed.
- Keep current on trends and developments that impact the commercial insurance industry.
- Assist Zywave staff as needed and available.
- Perform other tasks on projects as needed/assigned by management.
- 1 or more years of writing experience. Expertise in the insurance industry a plus.
- Education in English, Journalism, Communications, or related discipline.
- Strong research and writing skills. Familiarity with AP Stylebook, insurance terminology strongly desired.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills to ensure accurate, error-free work.
- High level of computer literacy and Internet knowledge, including Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and take critiques as needed.
- Ability to understand our products, in addition to customers’ and partners’ needs in the insurance environment.
- Excellent oral communications and interpersonal skills and a strong desire to learn and grow, both professionally and personally in ways that will enhance job performance.
As a Content Writer at Zywave, you will research and author original materials for inclusion into one or more of Zywave’s web-based software products. Serve as an editor for works created by others in the organization. You will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining product materials in content library, creating, and maintaining corporate collateral while supporting Zywave’s market-leading position.
