      Job Description & Summary

      The Contingent Workforce department is a key component of PwC Deals business, facilitating rapid response and adaptability to meet client and project demands. The Associate in this role will support the operations and contribute to the enhancement of processes, crucial for the effective management of contingent workers.

      You’ll focus on ensuring that resources of suitable skills and calibre are available for tasks and activities as required as well as managing the education, planning, and skills enhancement associated with resources.

      Role Responsibilities

      As a Contingent Workforce Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Support end-to-end Contingent Workforce operations, including database management for headcount, hiring, and offboarding processes

      • Work with the Contingent Workforce Lead, Contingent Workforce recruitment and the engagement teams to bring process improvements and provide rapid response to the business needs.

      • Work collaboratively with the Finance department, Human Capital, and People Team to ensure alignment with financial objectives and HR policies

      • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and service delivery

      • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Contingent Workforce processes and procedures

      • Assist in the development and implementation of reports and dashboards for accurate reporting to Leadership

      • Support in monitoring performance against SLAs and reporting metrics to key stakeholders

      • Assist in limiting legal exposure to the firm through effective compliance and governance practices

      • Provide support to the Contingent Workforce team in daily operations and issue resolution

      • Collaborate with team members to proactively address emergent business needs

      Requirements

      • Relevant work experience in recruitment, staffing, or procurement. Experience within a Big 4 environment is preferred

      • Demonstrated ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and high volume of work

      • Familiarity with vendor management systems is preferred

      • Knowledge of professional services industry practices and experience in change management and negotiation

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

      • Basic knowledge of finance and ability to understand finance-related concepts is essential due to high involvement with the finance department

      • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop relationships across various internal functions
