      Contract Administrator

      Pleasant Holidays is one of the largest travel wholesalers in the United States specializing in vacation travel to the Hawaiian Islands, Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, South Pacific (Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand & Tahiti), Japan, the United States & Canada, and cruise vacations worldwide is seeking a Contract Administrator.

      Pleasant Holidays is a subsidiary of the Automobile Club of Southern California a diversified insurance, roadside assistance, financial services and travel organization serving more than 17 million AAA Members across 23 states.

      Primary Duties:

      • Review hotel contract addendums to ensure accuracy and completion

      • Analyze and interpret hotel rates, rules and restrictions outlined within the contracts and addendums and transfer data to Atlas and internal spreadsheets

      • Research, write and maintain descriptive text and attributes for hotels

      • Write and edit text records for itineraries, help screens, vouchers and product memos

      • Load hotel inventory, oversells and cut-offs

      • Review inventory agreements and communicate established procedures to Land Operations for proper maintenance

      • Define vendor contact information for reservations, manifests, and above block requests

      • Ensure room category and rate plan codes are successfully mapped in Atlas for electronically connected hotels

      • Test hotel products in Atlas to ensure successful and accurate implementation

      • Assist Accounts Payable with researching supplier invoice discrepancies

      • Develop and maintain cordial business relations with vendors for support materials, product information and contract clarification

      • Provide excellent customer service by supporting and assisting all departments with questions and inquiries in a timely manner

      • Adhere to the goals, standards and timelines of the Product Implementation Department

      • Create and maintain packages

      • Other duties as assigned

      PREREQUISITES:

      • Minimum of 6 months in the travel industry

      • Excellent writing, spelling, and grammar skills, with strong attention to detail, process and organization

      • Ability to work independently and cooperatively

      • Professional work ethic

      • High p roficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)

      • Ability to work overtime when needed

      • Working knowledge of contracts, geography, PH products and Atlas system a plus;

      • Multilingual abilities a plus

      Compensation: Starting rate of pay is $20.00.
