      As part of the CFO Administration team, you’ll work closely with hospital leadership, legal experts, and state procurement professionals to evaluate contracts, audit files, train staff, and streamline contract systems.       The Oregon State Hospital provides patient-centered, psychiatric treatment for adults from throughout the state who need hospital-level care. Our primary goal is to help people recover from their illness and return to the community.       What We Are Looking For

      OR


      Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

      • Process Improvement Mindset – Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance contract systems and workflows for increased efficiency and compliance.

      • Training and Mentorship Abilities – Comfortable guiding others in contract management practices and delivering both formal and informal training sessions.

      Special Requirements: To be hired, you must have an abuse check, criminal records and driving records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire, and throughout employment.

      • Experience in Contract Administration – Minimum of two years’ experience in reviewing, developing, and managing contracts within a public sector or healthcare setting.

      • Advanced Software Proficiency – Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and SharePoint, with the ability to analyze, track, and present contract data effectively.

      • Knowledge of Contracting Regulations – In-depth understanding of Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS), and Joint Commission and CMS standards as they relate to public contracting and procurement.

      • Hospital and Government Experience – Familiarity with the operations of a psychiatric hospital or large public health agency, including knowledge of enterprise accounting systems and contract compliance.

      • Policy Development Skills – Proven ability to develop, evaluate, and implement contract-related policies and procedures to support legal compliance and operational efficiency.

      • The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Review the Classification and Compensation page for more details on the classification.
