  The Low Latency Group within the London Stock Exchange Group has an immediate opening for a Contract C++ Developer. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic problem-solvers with an interest in capital markets data to join us as we continue providing technology innovation and support to the world’s leading global capital markets companies. In this role, you will be part of a growing talented team that is tasked with delivering best in class market data solutions to the financial services industry.
  
  About this role:
  
  In this 6-month contract assignment you will be tasked with upgrading a proprietary time-series database engine which currently requires high throughput direct attached storage to support cloud native storage (AWS FSx for Lustre).
  
  Must have qualifications:

  • Excellent c++ skills

  • 5+ years of work experience with storage systems and concerns

  • Experience with cloud technologies

  Nice to have:

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience with Lustre

  • Experience with AWS FSx for Lustre

  • Experience with database storage engines

  • Low level experience with file systems
