What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review contracts to ensure compliance with commercial terms, policies, and legal regulations
- Analyze sourcing and financial records, invoice data, and backup documentation to verify compliance and identify discrepancies
- Identify and document contract risk exposures and areas of non-compliance
- Compile and write comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to clarify terms and resolve issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing procedures
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Knowledge of government contracting regulations and principles
- Experience with subcontracting practices and maintaining policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, with experience in accounting or legal roles being a plus
