- Proactively identify and recruits diverse candidates for open positions, building a strong candidate pipeline by building internal relationships with hiring managers and external relationships through participation in HR and hospitality industry organizations; seeks passive candidates as well as candidates responding to job postings. Uses internet, networking, college recruiting, and job fairs to source candidates.
- Conduct phone screens, interviews candidates, and schedules interviews with PRG management.
- Facilitate next steps with candidates and managers to ensure positive candidate experience and meets hiring manager needs in a timely manner.
- Administer criminal background and reference checking for selected candidates, create offer letters and extend offer packages, including negotiation around compensation and job terms and conditions.
- Conduct onboarding process, including administering criminal background, reference checks for selected candidates, offer letter creation, extending offer package including negotiation on compensation and job terms and conditions. Onboarding also includes cultural orientation to ensure retention of new associates.
- Responsible for providing a cadence of recruiting updates and reports to Support Center HR.
- Conduct exit interviews to understand opportunities for improved retention.
- Work with managers to ensure understanding and commitment to the company’s mission, values, and culture.
- Coordinate and attend college recruiting and showcase events to represent PRG and identify potential candidates.
- Provide other assistance as requested to Support Center HR and Support Center departments, working with the HR Representatives, Managers, and Director as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree required; business and/or hospitality majors preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in corporate recruiting with a retail or hospitality company, including lead generation, creative sourcing, and cold calling experience
- If hired, successful completion of annual store training
- If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
Summary of Job Description:
The Recruiter position partners with Support Center HR and internal client groups to recruit and staff new and vacant positions within corporate departments. This position proactively seeks and produces high quality candidates compatible with PRG’s mission and culture to fill positions on a timely basis. The Recruiter handles the recruiting life cycle from sourcing to onboarding to exit interviews, ensuring successful hiring and retention of associates.
