      Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

      Providence is calling a Contract Sourcing Administrator who will:

      • Perform contract administrative work including analysis review, contract execution, contract management activities in all platforms
      • Be responsible for supporting contract lifecycle management activities including contract extensions, price accuracy, new product introductions, tier maximization, terms and conditions updates
      • Identify and implement alignment/standardization opportunities, and all other lifecyle activities
      • Be responsible for supporting the contract team in preparing, negotiating, and executing contracts. This includes working with the contract through all phases until completion (pre-proposal through closeout) with a variety of suppliers
      • Administer multiple contracts pertaining to the various contract categories for Strategic Sourcing which could include, medical supplies, nonmedical supplies, purchase services, IT supplies, Implantable Devices, Capital and others as determined
      • Support the development, integration, implementation and optimization of the sourcing strategy
      • Work across Providence to partner and lead strategic plans around system wide initiatives
      • Work to ensure compliant effective operational experience for business partners
      • Act independently within all lifecycle management activities of a contract
      • Promote cost effectiveness and operational efficiency in contracting, purchasing, and utilization
      • Perform other duties and responsibilities in support of the programs

      Required qualifications for this position include:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance -OR- a combination of equivalent education and relevant experience
      • 3+ years contracting, purchasing or related educational experience
      • 3+ years contract management, contract negotiations, healthcare or educational experience

      Preferred qualifications for this position include:

      • IT Sourcing: Preference will be given to applicants with IT, or Healthcare experience
