      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct contract monitoring through desk audits or on-site reviews, analyzing contractor performance
      - Interpret and communicate contractual requirements and regulations affecting child welfare services
      - Act as a liaison between contractors and state personnel, facilitating communication and issue resolution
      - Manage contracting activities, including procurement, negotiations, and claims approval
      - Participate in reviewing and updating HHS contracting processes and programmatic policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from high school or G.E.D. and eight years of full-time work experience in procurement and contract administration
      - OR graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in business, public administration, accounting, or economics and four years of required experience
      - OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Experience in reviewing ongoing compliance with contract requirements and terms
      - Current continuous experience in the state executive branch as a Purchasing Agent 2 is acceptable

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Graduate coursework in business, public administration, accounting, or economics may substitute for required experience
      - Experience working in government contracting or child welfare services
      - Familiarity with compliance regulations and contract negotiation processes
