      Job Title: Contract Specialist (Staffing Industry – India-Based, US/Canada Contracts)
      Location: India (Remote). Must work US EST hours.
      POsition Type: Direct Hire
      Job Type: Full-Time

      Role Overview:

      • The Contract Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients in the United States and Canada, ensuring compliance with legal and industry regulations.
      • This role requires expertise in contract law, staffing agreements, and risk assessment, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in U.S. and Canadian legal frameworks.


      Key Responsibilities:

      • Review, draft, and negotiate client contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and amendments for U.S. and Canadian clients.
      • Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws, industry regulations, and corporate policies.
      • Identify and mitigate risks in contractual agreements.
      • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure contracts align with business objectives.
      • Maintain a database of executed contracts, renewals, and compliance requirements.
      • Stay updated on legal developments affecting the staffing industry in the U.S. and Canada.
      • Support dispute resolution and contract enforcement efforts as needed.


      Qualifications:

      • LLB or LLM is required; J.D. preferred. Bar admission in India, the U.S., or Canada is a plus.
      • 3+ years of experience in contract law, legal compliance, or corporate legal services.
      • Experience in the staffing, professional services, or consulting industry is highly desirable.
      • Strong understanding of U.S. and Canadian contract laws.
      • Excellent negotiation and risk assessment skills.
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
