What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle pre- and post-award contract actions in support of contracting officers
- Develop artifacts for design and construction solicitations, including cost/price analysis
- Ensure compliance with FAR (Part 36) for Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts
- Collaborate on contracting functions to support federal agency requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned related to contracting and procurement processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of Federal contracting experience, with at least 5 years in construction/A-E
- FAC-C II or DAWIA certification equivalent
- Experience in pre-award contracting functions and artifact development
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Contracting regulations, including FAR
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience specifically related to supporting construction/A-E contracting
- Ability to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance
- Familiarity with federal agency contracting processes and procedures
