      As the Contracts Administrator, you will administer both cost-reimbursable and fixed price contracts from inception to closeout, ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements. You will serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation and correspondence relative to assigned contracts. This position will be based in our Lexington Park, MD corporate office. Specific responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

      • Assisting directors and program managers unit leaders in achieving their financial and performance goals and objectives.
      • Processing funding modifications for additional funds or de-obligating funds for signature when required.
      • Conducting contract close-out procedures according to the FAR; handling all applicable duties of close-out and preparing required documentation for signature.
      • Managing records of agreements and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
      • Examining contract performance requirements, deliverables, and schedules to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
      • Reviewing all correspondence concerning contracts and responding/advising as necessary.
      • Aiding in the proposal process for new business to include pricing and analysis of RFP terms and conditions.
      • Maintain and cultivate communication with the prime contractors.
      • Creating Purchase Requisitions for Services or Goods.
      • Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) Point of Contact to submit and track required OCONUS travel.
      • Organizing old contract files.

      Requirements

      Education and Experience:

      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contracts administration.
      • Proven experience with pricing and cost analysis.
      • Strong background in contract project control, including tracking and reporting.
      • Proficient in managing CPFF (Cost Plus Fixed Fee), T&M (Time and Materials), and FFP (Firm Fixed Price) contract types.
      • Experience preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
      • Prior experience managing DoD contracts—particularly within the Navy domain—is highly desired.

      Salary Range:

      • The estimated salary range for this position will be $65,000 - $75,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
