Management of key areas of the contract lifecycle for their territory in Stryker including: pre-tender planning and opportunity communication, proposal and tender development, implementation and debrief process, and contract management & optimization.
Managing and maintaining key tender & contract tools, databases and processes.
Working across the Stryker South Pacific business with Territory Managers, Region Managers, Area Sales Managers, Sales Development team and other stakeholders to harness strength of our organization with our Public Customers
Partnering with management on strategy for new and existing tenders with government hospital customers.
Understanding and committing to quality standards through the use of local quality management systems and local programs.
1 - 3 years business experience, with a focus on contract and tenders management
Excellent planning, organizational and time-management skills
Ability to influence, work with and negotiate at multiple levels and across multiple functions within organization
Process orientation and superior problem solving and decision making skills
Contractual and commercial understanding of contracts terms and conditions
General knowledge of Australia & New Zealand Public Sector tendering, purchasing processes and systems
Degree qualified in business, commerce or law
Familiarity and confidence with A/NZ Public Health terms and conditions.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the hospital market
Exposure the process improvement / continuous improvement programs

We are now seeking a passionate and driven Contracts & Tender Specialist to join our Commercial team on a parental leave cover (approximately 6 months).
This person will be responsible for a territory of contracts and tenders, from notification of the opportunity to delivery of the tender, implementation of the contract and effective management of the ongoing contract lifecycle - leading to management discipline across the organization, sales optimization and growth in the Public Sector.
