      The Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) Radar Team is seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join our team at Lockheed Martin. The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts for assigned programs, including negotiating and administering contracts for U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales. The desired candidate will ensure compliance with contractual requirements, and provide contractual guidance to program teams.

      Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally, as needed. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree or Juris Doctor.

      - Experience with DoD Contracting including FAR/DFARS, UCC regulations.

      - Experience redlining and drafting commercial terms and conditions.

      - Ability to strategically work in a cross functional environment (including functions such as: legal, subcontracts, finance and other stakeholders).

      - Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally, as needed.

      - Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. This requires US Citizenship. - Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

      - Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and experience problem-solving.

      - Ability to work independently.

      - Task oriented.

      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

      - Experience with USG (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.

      - Experience with Multiple Contract Types (including Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable).

      - Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions, providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract.

      - Strong negotiations skills.

      - Ability to make effective presentations to senior leadership.

      - Multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.

      - Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and customers.
