      The Defense/Intel Business Area within the Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Contracts Representative to work in an exciting portfolio supporting the DoD and other Federal Agencies. This opportunity seeks a motivated contracts professional ready to support cutting edge programs ensuring the Government Agencies have the most secure, state of the art, and constantly changing digital modernization contracts. This role will require the Contracts Representative to support a range of programs where Leidos is both a Prime and a Subcontractor on small to large contracts.

      This is an individual contributor role. Additionally, this job is posted as Remote however the Business Area is located in Reston, VA and preference may be provided for a local candidate.

      Primary Responsibilities

      Responsible for governance, organizational development and execution of the functions associated with the proposal, administration, compliance and risk management of all customer and subcontractor contracts. Typical duties include: contract negotiation, administration and close-out; customer relationship management; contract customer-requirement compliance, contract regulatory compliance, DFAR Business System (Property and MMAS) compliance, international and export compliance and contract risk management.

      Basic Qualifications

      • BA degree + 2-4 or more years of relevant experience; or Master’s or Juris Doctor degree + 2 or more years of relevant experience.
      • Basic understanding of and experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Agency Supplements.
      • Knowledge of all contract types (e.g., T&M, FFP, and Cost Plus).
      • Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve problems and recommend sound business decisions.
      • Prompt responsiveness to internal and customer requirements and deadlines is critical.
      • Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers; and proven ability to foster communication and reconcile internal issues or differences.
      • Experience with Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other legal instruments a must. Additionally, candidate will have a background working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
      • Must be a US Citizen.

      Preferred Qualifications

      Possession of or ability to obtain a security clearance is preferred.

      Pay Range:

      Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00

      The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
