      Under close supervision of the Supervisor , Customer Service Control Center , the Specialist , is responsible for ensuring external and internal customer satisfaction by providing all customers with courteous, professional and efficient service.

      In conjunction with local office CS executives, CSPMs or PM s : Plans, generates and monitors shipments, and reports pertinent information related to specific high-volume transport projects. P oint of contact for our selected internal and external customers – usually by email.

      Responsibilities:

      • D emonstrate outstanding customer focus in all aspects ;

      • P ick up the phone and engage in dialog with our customers ( for roles involving customer interaction ) ;

      • I n volve colleagues where needed – in order to give best possible customer service experience ;

      • C alculate transit-times , shipment prices ;

      • E nter bookings in TMS (Transport Management System) and edit Jobs continuously to adapt to changing environment ;

      • S elect routings by deciding on a single or combination of transportation- types ;

      • O rder pickup / delivery / recovery / tendering of shipments as needed in close collaboration with local CS/OPS office colleagues ;

      • B ook and pre - advise shipments ;

      • M onitor shipments during the transport and react flexibly to any deviation from the plan ;

      • C ontinuously check shipment status in TMS and handle pre - advised shipments ;

      • C heck the planned departure or arrival times of flights (“Post Flight Check” ) ;

      • C ontinuously contact with clients on any relevant updates ;

      • C omplete J obs as needed ( e.g., enter extra-charges, pricing ) ;

      • W or k securely with all pertinent regulations (ADR / DGR / IATA) as well as the relevant laws and ordinances ;

      • U se and maintain the available technical tools ( TMS , Salesforce ,Omni ) ;

      • R ecognize and utilize important information and make immediate use of this in formation (All Stations Emails , Ops-Memos ) ;

      • C ommunicate with domestic and international World Courier stations / agents ;

      • Build and maintain relationships with contractors / transporters (airlines, handling agents, c ustoms, government agencies, veterinarians, suppliers, etc ) ;

      • Provide regular updates to customers and involved offices on project specific reporting requirements and milestones ;

      • Ensure feedback from customers is documented, escalated, and acted upon ;

      • Make suggestions to improve processes, efficiency, and consistency to develop the performance of the department ;

      • Adhere to any project or customer specific requirements, related guidelines and practices ;

      • Additional responsibilities may be added as per needs of the business change and expand .

      Minimum Skills Required:

      • Written and verbal communication skills

      • Expierence in Logistics (advantage)

      • German language (advantage)

      • Salesforce knowledge (advantage)

      • Fluency in English

      • Experience in Customer Service Setting (advantage)

      • Work schedule flexibility. 24/7 company may require off hours including holiday and weekend if necessary.
